As a young guy following his dreams, I faced a lot of challenges. The company I started with nothing was showing no sign of growth and things were very difficult for me.
One decision I made before leaving the University was that I will Never go about in crusade of paid employment and when things weren't working out, temptations to rescind on my decision were arrival in droves. A lot of pressure was mounted on me to drop my ambition and go in crusade of a job that will be bringing quarterly income, but I stood by my decision and decided to trudge on. I persisted, having faith in the realisation of my dreams and the rest is now history.
Jobs In San Diego California
If whatever is going to perform whatever worthwhile in life, then there is need to persist. A lot of citizen gave up too beyond doubt when they face small challenges while pursuing their dreams.
You need to know that nothing comes easy and as the Yorubas say it, any pot that desires to lick pepper must be ready for the inconvenience of the fire. You must brace up to face difficulties while following your dreams, but you must Never recognize giving up.
History is replete with men and women that faced a lot of challenges and went on to perform greatness in life. I have seen, read and heard stories of citizen that went through severe conditions just to perform their heart desires. They believe that tough times Never last but only tough citizen do. Even the large corporations we have today, once faced threatening challenges.
You need to hear/read the stories of Abraham Lincoln, Henry Ford, Winston Churchill, Walt Disney, Steve Job, Bill Gates, Cnn's Ted Turner, Robert Kiyosaki and our own Sam Adeyemi, Sunny Ojeagbase, Bishop Oyedepo, Mike Adenuga, the sensational Asa and numerous others to understand what I am talking about. They all faced the odds at one point in their lives but Refused to give up.
As I am writing this piece, I am reading an inspirational story and I will like to round up with it. It is about a guy called Maxcy Filer. In 1966, Maxcy took the California Bar Exam for the first time at the age of 36 and he failed. He took it again and failed. He took it again and again and again, and each time he failed.
He took it in Los Angeles, San Diego, Riverside, San Francisco (all towns in California) and in any place else it was offered. He took it when his children were still living at home and he took it with each of his sons when they had earned their own law degrees. He took it after he started working as a law clerk in the law offices of his sons, and he kept taking it even as he reached an age when most citizen are reasoning of retirement.
After twenty-five years, ,000 in exam fees and enumerate courses, and 144 days of his life spent in testing rooms, Maxcy Filer took the bar exam for the 48th time, and he passed. He was 61 years old. Maxcy never saw each failure as the end of his dream. They were merely another step toward the positive dream that he had a burning desire for.
If not for persistence, Maxcy wouldn't have achieved his heart desire and I am sure he will be a fulfilled man now. What will be said about you? What have you abandoned due to challenges or hardships you faced then? Don't you think it is time to start all over again?
Remember: Winners Never Quit and Quitters Don't Win.
Persistence Leads to Achievement!
